New filings come from the Daily Corporation and Other Entity Filing Data on data.ny.gov, dataset k4vb-judh, posted daily by the New York Department of State, Division of Corporations. A row is listed when the filing type is a formation or an initial authority (articles of organization, certificate of incorporation, application of authority, certificate of limited partnership, certificate or notice of registration, or a conversion that creates a new LLC) and the filing date falls inside the downloaded window, at most the last 90 days. The page shows the DOS ID, filing number, name, entity type, service-of-process address, city, ZIP code, filing date, share terms when the filing states them, and the filer and service-of-process names.
Days that have already rolled off that daily file are read from Active Corporations: Beginning 1800, dataset n9v6-gdp6, filtered on the initial DOS filing date. That file is the entity record: name, entity type, initial filing date, and the published process or location address. The Department describes it as a snapshot of active entities. On 6 October 2026 it included initial filing dates through 4 October 2026.
Both datasets are published by the New York Department of State through https://data.ny.gov/Economic-Development/Daily-Corporation-and-Other-Entity-Filing-Data/k4vb-judh and https://data.ny.gov/Economic-Development/Active-Corporations-Beginning-1800/n9v6-gdp6. This site is an independent directory. It is not the Department of State and it does not issue certificates. The datasets do not name a business activity, so the page leaves that block empty. County is not shown. Filer and agent street addresses are not listed separately from the service address. There is no telephone number and no website.
